Embracing Differences

This project is focusing on celebrating the cultural diversity we live in today through fashion using mixed media collage combined with graffiti. The idea behind my project is to rejoice and recognize the national diversity we live in today, especially as there is so much anger and pain in the world. Graffiti and cultural individuality have both been stereotyped negatively in the past,for me this body of work is about defeating stereotypes and presenting people with an alternate view of culture, tradition and graffiti.
